Advanced Building Products is proud to introduce Cop-R-Shield flashing for residential wood frame construction. With a track record of over 30 years in the residential and commercial industry, Cop-R-Shield has worked extremely well as a termite shield and thru-wall flashing on wood framed construction. New preservatives such as Alkaline Copper Quaternary (ACQ) used on pressure treated lumber create a compatibility concern between aluminum flashing and treated lumber. Certain dissimilar metals, such as copper and aluminum, cause corrosion when in contact with each other.

Cop-R-Shield consists of a full sheet of copper, available in weights of 2 oz. and 3 oz. per square foot with rolls either 20' or 60' long.
