Gray Seal is an economical 40 mil. UV resistant flashing system, complete with pre-fabricated end dams and corners. Gray Seal is a proven alternative to other 40 mil. non-asphaltic membranes available on the market and is suitable for commercial and residential applications.

* Non-metallic flashing materials are being specified as thru-wall flashings in today's market. Perceived to be easier to work with, membranes such as rubberized asphalt continued to gain in popularity. The Research & Development Department at Advanced Building Products took what we felt were the best characteristics of non-metallic flashings, while leaving the negative "drooling" aspect behind. Gray Seal is our answer.

Over door openings
Over windows
At window sills
Base of the wall
At any other obstruction

Fasten Gray Seal by one of the following methods…

In a mortar joint
Using an Advanced termination bar
In a reglet

Gray Seal should be lapped 6" and sealed with a contact cement. We recommend Gray Seal be cut flush with the outside face of the masonry, or installed with a drip edge.
