Rip No Mor®

Installation Instructions

1. Place a Rip-No-Mor® bracket on each side of a door or window opening, making sure the bottom of a 2"x4" stud will run parallel with the bottom of the flashing.   Attach the Rip-No-Mor® bracket to masonry using a masonry fastener.   Use a self-tapping screw for steel stud construction.

2. Inset a clear grade 2"x4" stud into the bracket and secure with 1-1/4" sheetrock screws.

3. Slip the 'U' shaped clip under the 2"x4" stud and secure the flashing between the stud and the clip.   Secure the Rip-No-Mor®  clip by fastening a 1-1/4" sheetrock screw into the pre-drilled hole.   Clips should be spaced 2' - 3' apart.

4. When the brick veneer is ready to be installed simple removed the screws and brackets.   Your flashing will have received no damage due to wind, giving masons one less headache to fix.
